Two people arrested after £250,000 worth of drugs recovered in Dundee
A man and a woman have been arrested and charged after drugs, with an estimated street value of £250,000, were seized in Dundee.
Officers executed a warrant at a property on Ormiston Crescent on Wednesday, 17 July, 2024, and recovered quantities of heroin and cocaine.
A 29-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were arrested and charged in connection with drug offences and have been released on an undertaking to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court at a later date.
Detective Inspector Julia Ogilvie said: “Drugs cause misery in our communities and Police Scotland is committed to disrupting the cultivation and sale of illegal substances.
“This investigation underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
