Three men and one woman have been arrested for theft in Perth
Four people have been arrested following an investigation into a theft in Perth.
Around 7.45am on Monday, 22 July 2024, police received a report of a Volkswagen Crafter van being stolen from the North Muirton area of Perth.
Following inquiries, officers identified several other cars had been broken into on Mull Place and Carnegie Place, Perth.
Three men, aged 31, 27 and 22, and a 19-year-old woman were later arrested and charged in connection with the incidents. They are due to appear at Perth Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 23 July, 2024.
The stolen vehicle was later recovered.
Constable Leona Scott from Perth Police Station said, “These arrests show our determination to tackle acquisitive crime. This is a high priority and with the help of the public we will continue to target anyone involved in criminal activity.”
