Appeal for information following a serious assault in Alexandria
Officers are appealing for information after a man was seriously assaulted in the Steven Street area of Alexandria.
Around 11.15pm on Sunday, 30 June, we received a report of an assault and a 37-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment.
A 24-year-old man was arrested in connection and released pending further enquiries.
Detective Sergeant Kieran Bewick said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are keen to speak to anyone in the area at the time who can assist.
“As part of our investigation we are also asking anyone with private CCTV that could help to get in touch and if you were driving in the area then please check your dash-cam to see if there is anything that could assist officers.”
