Appeal following serious crash on the B9013 in Moray
Road Policing officers are appealing for information following a serious crash on the B9013 in Moray.
The incident took place on the B9013 College of Roseisle to Burghead Road, around 9.55pm on Tuesday 9 July, 2024, and involved a white Vauxhall Crossland car and a blue Yamaha FZ6 Fazer motorcycle.
Emergency services attended and the rider of the motorcycle, a 19-year-old man was taken to Dr Grays Hospital for treatment and transferred to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. His injuries are described as serious.
The occupants of the car were not injured.
The road was closed for around five hours to allow for investigations to be carried out and re-opened around 3.30am on Wednesday, 10 July, 2024.
Constable Callum Hogg of the Elgin Road Policing Unit said: “Our enquiries are ongoing into this incident and I am appealing for anyone who has any information which could assist to contact us.
“In particular, we would be keen to speak to anyone who saw the vehicles before the crash or who were in the area at the time and who may have dash cam which could assist to get in touch.”
