Turriff Local Charity donate Keiran's Legacy defibrillator to Turriff Police Station
Turriff Local Charity has donated a defibrillator from Keiran’s Legacy to Turriff Police Station on Wednesday, 24 January.
Our picture shows Lorna Medcalf from Keiran’s Legacy handing over the equipment to Constable Christopher Bain.
Constable Bain said: “We are extremely grateful to all those at Turriff Local Charity and Keiran's Legacy for their generous donation of this life-saving equipment which will now be utilised by officers operating in the local area.
“Officers have received training to prepare for the introduction of defibrillators and will carry the defib whilst on duty. Policing can often mean being first at scene for incidents which require a defib, so having one whilst on patrol can save vital minutes in the provision of enhanced medical aid.
“I would again like to thank everyone that made this possible. Their generosity could help save lives."
