Serious assault, Maxwell Crescent, Blantyre
Detectives are appealing for information after a man was seriously assaulted within a property in Blantyre on Friday, 19 January, 2024.
The incident took place around 5.20pm at a house in Maxwell Crescent and resulted in a 25-year-old man being taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment to serious facial injuries.
From enquiries carried out so far it is believed three men, all in their late teens or early twenties, were involved in the incident and made off in the direction of Welsh Drive.
Detective Constable Ashley Hind said: “This was a violent attack which left the victim with serious injuries and it is vital we trace the individuals responsible.
“We are appealing to anyone who may have seen three men in the area of Maxwell Crescent or Welsh Drive on Friday evening to please come forward.
“In particular we would like to hear from anyone with private CCTV or dash-cam footage which could be of significance to the investigation.
