Man arrested following drugs recovery in Inverness
Drugs worth an estimated £115,000 have been recovered during an intelligence-led search in Inverness.
On Wednesday, 17 January, a warrant was executed at an address in Bailey Place, and a quantity of Class B drugs and more than £4000 in cash were found.
A 23-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with drugs offences, and is due to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court at a later date.
Sergeant Michael Clark of the Violence Reduction Unit said: “This is a significant seizure and highlights our dedication to removing illegal drugs from within our communities.
“This operation underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
