Four charged in connection with acquisitive crime in Lanarkshire
Three male youths, aged 16, 17 and 17, and a 20-year-old year man have been arrested and charged in connection with acquisitive crime in Lanarkshire.
The offences included housebreaking, attempted housebreaking and theft of a vehicle which happened between Wednesday, 29 November and Thursday, 30 November, 2023.
All four are due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 13 February, 2024.
Detective Chief Inspector Susie Cairns of CID said: “We know that acquisitive crime such as housebreaking or having your car stolen has a significant impact on victims.
“We are committed to reducing this type of behaviour as it will not be tolerated in our communities.
