Four charged following drugs recovery in Glasgow
Detectives in Lanarkshire have arrested and charged four men following the recovery of drugs with a potential street value of £366,000.
On Wednesday, 10 January, 2024 a large-scale cannabis cultivation was discovered at a disused building on Manse Road in Glasgow.
Four men – aged 34, 28 and two aged 24 - have been arrested and charged in connection with serious and organised crime offences, including drug offences. They are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday, 12 January, 2024.
Detective Sergeant Victoria Shanley said: “This is a substantial recovery and highlights our continued commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
"We will always pursue every means possible to disrupt individuals bringing drugs into our communities for their own illicit gain.
“Support from members of the public is vital as part of our work to bring those responsible for making and supplying illegal substances to justice.
