Appeal following fatal crash on Carfrae Street, Glasgow
Road Policing officers are appealing for information after a fatal crash in Yorkhill, Glasgow, on Thursday, 11 January, 2024.
Around 10.35am, an 84-year-old man was driving a Peugeot 2008 on Carfrae Street when it appears the vehicle lost control and struck a parked Suzuki SX4.
Police and ambulance attended, and he was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he died on Saturday, 13 January.
Sergeant Ally Wright said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died at this very difficult time.
“As our enquiries continue to establish the circumstances surrounding this crash, I would urge any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
"If you were in the area of Carfrae Street around the time of the crash and saw this car, or if you have any dashcam footage, please contact us as soon as possible.”
