Appeal after stolen motorbike involved in crash on Milnbank Road in Dundee
Police in Dundee are appealing for information following the theft of a motorbike, which was later involved in a crash on Milnbank Road.
The black and green Lexmoto Venom motorbike was stolen from outside a premises on Lochee High Street in Dundee sometime between 9am and 8pm on Friday, 5 January, 2024.
The following day, around 6.30pm on Saturday, 6 January, the motorbike was involved in a crash on Milnbank Road at the junction with Rosefield Street, colliding with a taxi.
Three young men wearing black balaclavas then made off on foot. A search of the area was carried out by officers, with no trace of the men found.
Constable Jennifer Speid of Lochee Police Station said: "Enquiries are ongoing, and we would urge anyone who may have seen the motorbike or witnessed the crash to come forward.
"In particular, we would be keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the riders of the motorbike or to anyone passing who may have dashcam footage.
