Teenager arrested and charged in connection with a series of offences in the Westerton area.

A 15-year-old male youth has been arrested and charged in connection with a series of offences in the Westerton area of Bearsden, Glasgow between Friday, 2 February and Tuesday, 6 February.


He has been charged in connection with two sexual offences and two acts of threatening and abusive behaviour.


He has been released on an undertaking to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court at a later date.


Chief Inspector Aidan Higgins, local area commander for East Dunbartonshire, said: “We would like to take the opportunity to thank members of the local community for their assistance with this investigation.”
