Statement from family of Keith Rollinson

The family of Keith Rollinson, 58, who died following an incident in Elgin has released a statement through Police Scotland.

They said: “On Friday, 2 February the kindest, dedicated and loving husband and father was taken from us. Our world has been shattered I cannot see us ever getting over our loss of our rock.
“We would like to ask for privacy at this time to deal with the loss without intrusion.”

Mr Rollinson was taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital in Elgin after the incident at St Giles Road around 10.40pm on Friday, 2 February. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

A 15-year-old male youth was arrested and charged in connection with the incident. He appeared at Elgin Sheriff Court on Monday, 5 February, 2024.
