Over £150k worth of drugs recovered in Prestwick

Drugs with a potential street value of over £150,000 have been seized in Ayrshire.

Around 12.30pm on Wednesday, 14 February, 2024, a warrant was executed at a premises on Skye Road, Prestwick. During the search, cannabis worth over £150,000 was recovered.

A 19-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with drug offences. He is due to appear at Ayr Sheriff court on Thursday, 15 Feburary, 2024.
