Drugs worth more than a million pounds have been seized in Dundee
More than a million pounds worth of Class A drugs has been seized by officers in Dundee.
On Monday, 19 February, 2024, officers stopped a black VW Golf on the Kingsway in Dundee.
While searching the vehicle, officers recovered a quantity of Cocaine with an estimated street value of £1.3 million.
A 23-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with drug supply.
He is due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 20 February, 2024.
Detective Inspector Julia Ogilvie said: “This is a significant recovery and has removed harmful drugs from our communities. We take a proactive approach to target anyone involved in the supply of drugs, and this demonstrates our commitment to dealing with this issue.
