Cannabis worth £120k recovered in Paisley
A 22-year-old man has been arrested and charged after cannabis worth an estimated £120,000 was recovered from a property in Paisley.
Officers attended a property on St Mirren Street in the town on Friday, 2 February and discovered a cannabis cultivation within.
The 22-year-old is expected to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 13 February, 2024
Detective Sergeant Craig Savage said: “Anyone who introduces drugs into our communities for their own gain should be in absolutely no doubt that we will rigorously pursue every means possible to disrupt this activity.
“Seizures such as this show our commitment nationally to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious and Organised Crime Strategy.
“Locally in Renfrewshire and Inverclyde our officers are determined to protect members of the public from this type of criminality.
