Appeal for information following serious assault in Glasgow

We are appealing for information following a serious assault in Glasgow.

The assault happened around 5.30pm on Thursday, 1 February, 2024 in the Glenshee Street area.

A 20-year-old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.

The suspect is described as being a man, aged between 17 and 25, with short hair wearing dark clothing.

Detective Constable Will Devlin said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the assault to contact us.

“We also ask anyone with private CCTV of the area at the time which could assist us to come forward.”
