Appeal for information following fire in Fort William

We are appealing for information following a fire at a property in Fort William.

The fire happened between 3am and 3.30am on Monday, 5 February, 2024 on Caledonian Road.

The fire is being treated as wilful.

Detective Constable Ashleigh Paterson said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious, or has any information, to contact us.

“We also ask anyone who may have private CCTV or dash-cam footage of the area at the time to come forward.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 0301 of 5 February, 2024. Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously by calling 0800 555 111.
