Appeal for information after vehicle fires in Coatbridge

We are appealing for information after two vehicle fires in Coatbridge.

Around midnight on Tuesday, 13 February, 2024, officers were called to a report of a van and a car on fire on Chatton Walk.

Emergency services attended and the fires were extinguished. The fires are being treated as wilful.

Detective Constable Billy Murray said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have information to contact us.

“We also ask anyone with private CCTV of the area at the time to come forward.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 0006 of Tuesday, 13 February, 2024. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
