Appeal following wilful fireraising in Balloch

Police are appealing for information following an incident of wilful fireraising in Balloch.

Around 1.55am on Monday, 19 February, 2024, we received a report of a Renault Trafic van on fire within Lennoxbank House car park, Dalvait Road.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service extinguished the fire and there were no reports of any injuries.

The fire is being treated as wilful and enquiries are ongoing.

Detective Constable Jack Muir said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident and who has not already spoken to police to get in touch.

“I would also ask anyone who may have dash cam footage or private CCTV footage which could assist us to contact us.”
