Appeal following vehicle fire in Dundee

We are appealing for information after a vehicle was deliberately set on fire in Dundee.

The incident happened between 9.10pm and 10pm on Sunday, 18 February, 2024, when a black Audi Q7 was set alight at Dighty Place.

Emergency services attended and extinguished the fire, which is being treated as wilful.

Detective Constable Luke Doogan said: "Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious to contact us.

“This incident took place within a built-up residential area, posing a risk to neighbouring properties and vehicles so I urge anyone with information to get in touch.”
