Appeal following robbery on Colquhoun Drive, Alexandria
Police are appealing for information after a man was robbed of his wallet in Alexandria.
Around 7.10pm on Tuesday, 13 February, a 73-year-old man was on Colquhoun Drive at the junction with Heather Avenue and Bowie Road, Alexandria when he was approached from behind by a man who assaulted him and stole his wallet before heading in the direction of Bowie Road.
The suspect is described as male, around 6ft in height, wearing a dark hooded top, dark trousers and light coloured trainers.
Detective Constable Calum Hall said: “The victim was left injured and understandably shaken as a result of this incident.
“Our enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or who was in the area around the time and may have dash-cam footage which could assist us to get in touch.”
