Appeal following assault in Balloch

Detectives in West Dunbartonshire are appealing for information following an assault in Balloch.

The incident took place at around 3.30am on Saturday, 3 February, 2024 outside a nightclub on Balloch Road.

A 27-year-old man sustained an injury and was taken to Vale of Leven District Hospital in Alexandria for treatment.

Detective Constable Iain Allison, of Clydebank CID said: “The victim has been left injured by this incident and we are appealing for information to be able to establish exactly what happened.

“The area would have been relatively busy with traffic and people leaving nearby premises at the time. If anyone has witnessed the incident or captured anything on dash-cam footage or CCTV, please contact police.”
