Renewed appeal following crash on Croftfoot Road, Glasgow
Road policing officers in Glasgow are continuing to appeal for information following a crash involving a car and a pedestrian.
The incident happened on Croftfoot Road around 11pm on Wednesday, 25 December, 2024.
The pedestrian, a 53-year-old woman, was taken to hospital for treatment.
The car stopped initially but the two occupants, described as Asian males with Scottish accents, left in the vehicle before emergency services arrived.
Through enquiries so far, officers believe the car was a 2005-2015 Ford S-Max, possibly dark grey in colour.
The wing mirror, which had come off in the crash, was also retrieved before emergency services arrived.
Sergeant Jack Swindells said: “Extensive enquiries remain ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have seen the car around this time to contact us.
“We also ask anyone driving in the area at the time with dash-cam footage to come forward.”
