Man who died following light aircraft crash in Kinglassie has been named
A man who died after a light aircraft crashed near Fife Airport, Kinglassie has been named as Nicholas Denison-Pender, 50, from Perthshire.
The incident happened around 11.40am on Monday, 23 December, 2024.
Emergency services attended but the pilot was pronounced dead at the scene.
Enquiries remain ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Detective Inspector Samantha Davidson said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Nicholas as they come to terms with their loss.
“The family have asked for their privacy at this difficult time.
“An investigation into the circumstances of the crash remains ongoing and we would ask for anyone with information, to please come forward."
