Man charged in connection with licensing offences in Stewarton
A 30-year-old man been charged in connection with licensing offences in Stewarton.
On Friday, 29 November, 2024, officers from Annick Locality Policing Team carried out patrols to target anti-social behaviour in the area.
Part of this activity included ensuring licensed premises were operating safely and legally.
A 30-year-old man was charged in connection with licensing offences, including the sale of alcohol to someone under 18. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A 17-year-old male youth was arrested in connection with attempting to pervert the course of justice and enquiries remain ongoing.
Constable Andy Milne said: “Our enquiries remain ongoing and officers are committed to disrupting any form of anti-social behaviour in our communities.
“We are working together with partners to ensure appropriate measures are in place to deter such activity and to keep local people safe.
