CCTV appeal following assault on Union Street in Glasgow

Police Scotland has released a CCTV image of a man officers believe may be able to assist their enquiries into an assault in Glasgow city centre.

The incident happened on Thursday, 21 November, 2024, on Union Street around 11.30pm.

The man (pictured) was wearing a dark grey jacket, light grey trousers, grey trainers with white soles and carrying a grey backpack.

Detective Constable Matthew McCann said: “I would urge the man pictured, anyone who may recognise him or anyone who has information about this incident to contact us as soon as possible.”

Anyone who can assist is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 4065 of Thursday, 21 November, 2024. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be given anonymously.”
