Appeal for information following crash on A77 near Lochans
Officers are appealing for information following a crash on the A77 near Lochans.
The crash happened around 6.10am on Thursday, 26 December, 2024 involving a pedestrian and a white Vauxhall van.
The pedestrian, a 30-year-old woman, was taken to hospital for treatment.
The road was closed for around eight and a half hours.
Constable Luke Bell said: "Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage of the area at the time to contact us.
"We are also keen to speak to the driver of a car, seen passing the crash at the time."
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 0580 of 26 December, 2024.
