Appeal for information following crash on A75
Road policing officers are appealing for information following a two-vehicle crash on the A75 at Gretna.
The crash happened around 11.10am on Monday, 16 December, 2024 at the junction with the B721, involving a black Peugeot 3008 and a white Ford Transit van.
An 83-year-old man and a 77-year-old man were taken to hospital with serious injuries. Three further men, aged 77, 60, and 31, were taken to hospital as a precaution.
The road was closed for around nine hours and reopened around 8pm.
Sergeant Colin Ramage said: "Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash to contact us.
"We also ask anyone driving in the area at the time with dashcam footage to come forward."
