Appeal following two deliberate car fires in Auchinleck

Detectives are appealing for information after two cars were deliberately set on fire in two separate incidents in Cameron Drive in Auchinleck.

The first happened about 11pm, on Wednesday, 11 December, and involved a white Citreon DS3 and the second around 6pm on Monday, 16 December, involving a blue Ford Puma. They are being treated as linked.

There were no reports of any injuries, and the fires were put out by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.

Detective Constable Babington said: “Our enquiries are ongoing, and I am appealing for anyone who has any information which could assist us to get in touch.

“I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time or who has any dash cam or private CCTV footage which could assist to contact us.”
