Appeal following serious crash on Hyndland Road in Glasgow
Road policing officers are appealing for information following a serious crash on Hyndland Road in Glasgow around 4.20pm on Monday, 30 December.
It happened at the junction with Westbourne Road and involved a silver Vauxhall Zafira and a cyclist.
Emergency services attended and the cyclist, a 57-year-old man, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where his condition is described as critical.
The road was closed for around four hours for crash investigation work.
Sergeant Jack Swindells said: “We are continuing with our enquiries to establish the full circumstances and would like to speak to anyone with information that could help.
“If you have dash-cam or private CCTV footage that could assist then please make contact with officers.”
