Appeal following serious crash on Glasgow Road, Clydebank
Road policing officers are appealing for information following a serious crash in Clydebank.
Around 4.15pm on Sunday, 8 December, 2024, officers were called to a report of a crash involving a car and a motorcycle on Glasgow Road, Hardgate.
Emergency services attended and the 20-year-old male motorcycle rider was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment to what were described as serious injuries. The female driver of the car was uninjured.
The road was closed for around five hours to allow enquiries to be carried out.
Sergeant Robert Mackie of Argyll and West Dunbartonshire Road Policing said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash and hasn’t already spoken to officers to contact us.
“I would also ask anyone who was driving in the area at the time and who may have dash cam footage which could assist to get in touch.”
