Two men sentenced in connection with attack in Dennistoun
Two men have been sentenced in connection with an attack in Dennistoun in May last year.
At the High Court in Glasgow on Friday, 23 August, 2024, Cameron Carnwath, aged 24, was sentenced to five years and four months in prison and Jordan Logan, aged 29, sentenced to four years and eight months in prison for seriously injuring a 22-year-old man in Cardross Court on Tuesday, 30 May 2023.
They both plead guilty to assaulting the man to his severe injury, permanent disfigurement and to the danger of his life on Friday, 31 May, 2024.
Detective Inspector Gary Cassidy said: “This kind of violence has no place in our communities.
“This was a deliberate and brutal attack and Carnwath and Logan will now face the consequences of their actions.
“I would like to extend my thanks the public for their assistance with this investigation.”
