Specialist officers and police helicopter deployed in west of Glasgow
On the afternoon of Wednesday, 14 August, 2024, specialist officers and the police helicopter were deployed in the west of Glasgow as part of an ongoing investigation.
Officers were in Kelso Street around 2pm and later in Hawick Street, Knightswood, and Glasgow Road, Clydebank, around 5pm.
No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
There will be a continued police presence in the area and there is no risk to the wider public.
