Man seriously assaulted in Underwood Road, Paisley

Detectives at Paisley are appealing for information after a 39-year-old man was seriously assaulted in Paisley on Friday, 9 August, 2024.

Around 1.05am, officers were called to Underwood Road, Paisley.

The man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and released after treatment.

Detective Sergeant James McAteer said: “Our enquiries are at an early stage into this incident and I would appeal to any witnesses, or anyone who was in area at the time who witnessed anything suspicious to contact us.

“I would also ask any drivers with dashcam to review their footage and get in touch if it holds anything relevant.”
