Man arrested in connection with attempted murder and serious assault in Kirkmuirhill, Lanark

​A 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an attempted murder on a 35-year-old man and a serious assault on a 15-year-old boy in Kirkmuirhill, Lanark.

The incident took place around 11.10pm on Friday, 26 July, 2024, on Thornton Road.

The 32-year-old man is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday, 12 August, 2024, and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
