Emergency services called to fire at block of flats in Claude Avenue, Cambuslang
Around 8.15am on Sunday, 18 August, 2024, we were called to a report of a fire at a block of flats in Claude Avenue in Cambuslang.
Emergency services attended and a number of residents had to be evacuated as a precaution.
Two people were checked over by paramedics at the scene however did not require hospital treatment.
Emergency services remain at the scene and members of the public are being asked to avoid the area.
Enquiries into the cause of the fire are ongoing.
