Drugs Recovered and Man Arrested – Loch Ryan Sea Port, Cairnryan
Police have recovered a quantity of drugs from a vehicle at Loch Ryan Sea Port, Cairnryan.
Around 1050pm on Monday, 5 August 2024, officers seized cannabis, with an estimated street value of £385,000 from the vehicle.
A 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the recovery.
He is due to appear at Stranraer Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 6 August 2024 and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A police spokesperson said:
“Drugs cause misery in our communities and tackling those involved in the cultivation and supply of drugs is a priority for Police Scotland.
