Cannabis cultivation recovered in Buckie
Drugs with an estimated street value of over £490,000 have been recovered at an address in Buckie.
Around 6.45pm on Thursday, 29 August, officers executed a warrant at a property on East Church Street.
An extensive cannabis cultivation was discovered inside.
A 36-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with drug offences. He is due to appear at Elgin Sheriff Court on Friday, 30 August, 2024.
Detective Sergeant Steven Young said: “This is a significant recovery and is an example of our efforts to disrupt the trade in illegal drugs in Scotland.
“It also underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
