Appeal for information after attempted robbery in Clarkwell Road, Hamilton

Detectives are appealing for information after an attempted robbery which occurred in the Hamilton area on the evening of Sunday, 11 August, 2024.

Around 11.10pm a man was within a property in Clarkwell Road when two men approached the front door and threatened him, before demanding money.

The men made off from the scene empty handed in a dark coloured car.

We would urge anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area on Sunday evening, or who may have private CCTV or dashcam footage of significance, to get in touch.
