Appeal following wilful fireraising in Clydebank
Police in West Dunbartonshire are appealing for information following an incident of wilful fireraising in the Glasgow Road area of Clydebank.
The incident happened around 3.50pm Sunday, 4 August, when a white Audi A6, red Vauxhall Mokka and blue BMW 323 were set on fire.
No one was injured and the fire was put out by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
At the time of the incident the suspect was wearing a navy blue tracksuit with the hood up and their face covered. They were seen getting into the passenger side of a dark silver car which is believed to have made off toward Whitecrook.
Detective Constable John Pryde of Clydebank CID, said: “Thankfully no-one was injured, but three vehicles were extensively damaged as a result of the fire.
“Our enquiries are ongoing, and we urge anyone with information or who saw any suspicious activity in the area to get in touch.
“We are also keen to speak with anyone who may have dashcam or private CCTV footage that could assist with our enquiries."
