Appeal following serious assault in Clydebank
Police in Clydebank are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault in Craigbanzo Street.
The incident happened around 10.30pm on Friday, 16 August, when a 34-year-old man was attacked and suffered significant injury to his shoulder and arm.
He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where he is in a serious condition.
The suspect is described as a large built male, around 6ft 4ins tall and wearing all black with a black mask and black skip cap.
Anyone with information that can help identify this individual is asked to come forward.
Detective Constable Jack Muir from Clydebank CID said: “This attack has resulted in the victim sustaining very serious injuries and we are eager to trace the male responsible, as well as hear from anyone who witnessed what happened.
“If you were in the Craigbanzo Street area on Friday evening and saw anything suspicious or believe you can help us identify the male responsible, then please contact police immediately.”
