Appeal after children robbed in a Glasgow park
We are appealing for information after two children were robbed in Glasgow.
The incident took place between 6pm and 6.30pm on Thursday, 18 July, 2024 at the burn in Tollcross Park between Winter Garden and the Children’s Farm.
Two unknown males approached two boys, aged 14 and 13, who were playing in the park. The suspects threatened the boys with a knife and demanded the 14-year-old boy hand over his electric scooter.
They left in the direction of Tollcross Road in possession of the scooter.
The males are described as being black, aged in their late teens to early twenties, with English accents.
One of the males has brown hair and was wearing a black Nike jacket, black Lacoste tracksuit bottoms and green Nike 95 trainers.
The other male was wearing a black Berghaus jacket, black trousers and grey trainers.
Constable Lauren Moffat l said: "We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or saw the males in the park, to please contact us.
