Update – four arrested and charged following serious assault in Greenock

Two men and two male youths have been arrested and charged in connection with a serious assault in Greenock.

The men, both aged 18, and the youths aged 16 and 17, were due to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 10 April, 2024.

The incident happened around 12.50am on Sunday, 7 April, at the corner of Nicolson Street and its junction with West Shaw Street.

A 50-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.
