Man jailed for 11 years for sexual offences and child exploitation in Inverness
A 34-year-old man has been jailed in connection with child exploitation, sexual and drugs offences in the Inverness area, which happened between 2020 and 2022.
Adam Pentacost was sentenced to 11 years at the High Court in Edinburgh on Monday, 29 April, 2024.
He had previously been convicted of the offences following a trial on Monday, 26 February, 2024.

“I hope this sentence gives his young victims and their families some kind of closure.
“Police Scotland is determined to trace those involved in sexual and drug crime and bring them to justice.
“When it comes to child exploitation, anyone wishing to report this kind of crime can speak to specialist officers at Police Scotland’s Children and Young Persons Intervention Team.
