Man assaulted in his car in Greenock
Officers are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in Greenock.
Around 12.20am on Sunday, 21 April, 2024, a 37-year-old man was within his vehicle in Fintry Road when a dark-coloured car drove up beside him. Two men got out of the car and assaulted him. The man did not require to go to hospital.
The suspects got back into the car and drove off.
Officers have been checking if any CCTV footage has captured additional information on the suspects or the car.
Detective Sergeant Stuart Young said: “This appears to be a random attack on a man who was sitting in is car. I am appealing to anyone who was in Fintry Road around the time of this incident to get in touch with us with any information. I would also ask any motorists or taxi-drivers to check their dash cams as they may have captured images which could assist our investigation.”
