Break-in at premises in Cairn Court, East Kilbride
Detectives are continuing enquiries following a break-in to a business premises in East Kilbride.
Officers were made aware of the break in around 7am on Monday, 29 April, 2024 and believe entry was forced into the premises on Cairn Court, East Kilbride between the evening of Sunday, 28 April into Monday morning.
Enquiries carried out so far have established a group of five figures, all dressed in black, were seen at that location. A white Ford Transit long wheel-based van was also seen.
The suspects stole boxes of Botox and boxes of a diabetic weight loss solution, known as Wegovy. Officers are warning people that the misuse of this solution could cause serious, adverse health risks and are asking anyone who finds it or is offered it for sale to contact them immediately.
Officers are continuing to review CCTV footage from in and around the area for any additional information on the suspects or the Transit van.
Detective Inspector Scott Robertson said: “I would appeal to anyone who has doorbell or dash cam recording equipment to check their footage. It’s possible it has picked up the van when it’s been leaving the location or driving in the surrounding area. I would also ask motorists who were in and around the location to check for any images which could assist in our ongoing inquiries.”
