Appeal for information following two housebreakings in Drumry Road, Clydebank
Detectives are appealing for information following two housebreaking incidents in the Clydebank area.
The first incident took place at an address in Drumry Road around 9.30pm on Wednesday, 17 April, 2024, where three males in their late teens broke into a property.
Nobody was home at the time however the suspects were disturbed by a neighbour and made off along Drumry Road.
All three males had their faces covered and one is further described as wearing a light blue puffer jacket.
The second incident occurred around 5.10am on Thursday, 18 April, at another property in Drumry Road
A woman in her 60’s discovered two males within her home who made off when they saw her.
The suspects are described as being in their late teens to mid-twenties, of slim build and wearing dark clothing with their faces covered. They spoke with local accents.
Detective Constable Aislinn MacLeod said: “It is unclear whether these two incidents are linked however we are keeping an open mind at this stage and are appealing for any information which could assist with our enquiries.
“We are asking anyone in the surrounding area with dash-cam or private CCTV, particularly ring doorbell footage, to please check in case you have captured anything which could be of significance at the times the housebreakings took place.
