Appeal following Dumbarton housebreaking

Officers are appealing for information following a housebreaking at a property in Brucehill, Dumbarton.

Around 7pm on Tuesday, 23rd April 2024 entry was gained to the property on Bontine Avenue. Fortunately, nothing appears to have been taken however damage has been caused to property within.

Detective Sergeant Peter Jarvis said: “Our enquiries so far have found that a car, a blue Audi, was in the area at the time. We are keen to speak to the owner of the vehicle, or anyone that saw it last night.

“If anyone saw anything suspicious or has private CCTV or dash cam covering the area, then please get in touch as you may have vital information that could help with our investigation.”
