Appeal following crash on the A87, Skye
Road policing officers are appealing for information following a serious crash on the A87 on Skye.
The incident happened near Sconser around 4.05pm on Thursday, 11 April, 2024 and involved a pink Fiat 500, a grey Skoda Superb and a red Land Rover Freelander.
Emergency services attended and the male driver of the Fiat 500 was flown to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment to serious injuries.
The female driver of the Skoda was taken to Raigmore Hospital by ambulance for treatment to serious injuries and the male passenger of the Skoda was taken to Broadford Hospital for treatment and later released.
The male driver of the Land Rover was treated at the scene.
The road was closed for around four and a half hours to allow for crash investigation work and re-opened around 9.20pm.
Sergeant Douglas Scott said: “Our enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash and who has not already spoken to officers to contact us.
“I would also appeal to anyone who was on the road and who may have dash cam footage which could assist with our enquiries to get in touch.”
